Growing up in Nigeria, West Africa, I got to see and wear various authentic designs/patterns of Ankara Fabrics. To be honest, I did not really appreciate these fabrics then. After living in the United States for almost two decades I have periodically seen these same fabrics worn by some people and after approaching a couple of them I realized that they have so much love for Ankara Fabrics and its authentic qualities.
